According to Dataxis latest quarterly update, the mobile subscribers growth in Europe remains almost flat. In the fourth quarter of 2017, mobile subscribers in Europe reached 1.05 billion(1050 million) from compared to 1.04 billion (1040 million) for the same quarter in 2016, with a compound annual growth (CAGR) of 0.1%.

The top 10 countries are accounting for 78% of the mobile subscribers, showing a flat growth between Q416 and Q417. Russia, Germany, Italy, France, UK, Ukraine, Spain, Poland, Romania, and Portugal, are the top 10 countries, based on number of mobile subscribers. Among the top 10 countries, Russia being the highest contributor with 24% of the mobile subscribers, and Portugal is the lowest with 2% mobile subscribers.

Note: In total, 54 European countries are included in the analysis.
