Dataxis methodology to analyse market power for each supplier is to attribute a percentage of the installed base of every Pay TV operator to each supplier in actual or recent relationship with it. If two suppliers only are active, each has 50%, etc. STBs considered include cable, satellite, terrestrial, IPTV, OTT, and makes no difference between SD, HD and advanced STBs. This is in no way a method to reflect actual shipments, nor value market share, but Dataxis believes it represents well the customer base of each supplier and its power in the market.
