From Q1 2014 to Q1 2019, the total subscription revenues of the direct Pay-TV market has increased by 19%, reaching 8,9 billion euros in Q1 2019. DTH remains the first technology, as its revenues still account for 39% of the total, however they tend to decrease since 2015. Direct cable revenues are rather stable and account for 26% of the total but are inferior to IPTV revenues (30%) since 2018. DTT represents only 2% of the total revenues and is declining, surpassed in Q1 2019 by OTT Pay TV which revenues now represent 3% of the total. This confirms the growth and strategic importance of this technology in the Pay-TV market.
