Fiber networks are taking off in Germany after a slow start

While Germany only had 3.3 million optical fiber passed premises at the end of 2019, this number doubled two years later as competition on the broadband market gets emulated by the entry of many local network builders and a growing interest for fiber infrastructures from investment funds.
